10 Best Singapore Shopping Mall

Several Singapore Shopping Mall are located across the country. These are the few ones that in my opinion worth finding out.

Usually Singapore shopping centre start operating from 10am and stay open until 10pm.

Suntec City

Suntec City is located at Marina Centre. Used to be the largest Singapore Shopping Mall until Vivo City. It has 82,500 m2 of retail space. The Shopping Mall is link up with the Convention and Exhibition Hall. It is divided into four zones: Galleria, Tropics, Entertainment Centre and Fountain Terrance.

  • The Galleria, located on the ground floor of the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre, offering high-end international labels targeted specifically at convention delegates and tourists.
  • The Tropics offers a more wide-ranging choice of outlets for a wider budget range, with added emphasize on lifestyle merchandise and services.
  • The Entertainment Centre at the north-eastern end of the mall is dedicated to entertainment-related tenants such as Golden Village cinema, as well as Giant super market
  • The Fountain Terrace is located around the Fountain of Wealth, and specializes in food and beverage outlets.

Paragon is an upmarket Singapore shopping centre located at the heart of Singapore Orchard Road.

Branded and lots of branded goods are sold here. Gucci, Alfred Dunhill, Escada are some of the many stores in here. Anchor tenants include Metro and Marks and Spencer.

Marina Square

Marina Square is located next to the bay area. Singapore Flyer, the latest Singapore attraction is just next to it. There are fashion boutique like Topshop, Mango, Zara, Topman and many more. It food court at 4th level of the mall has a magnificent view of the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay Sands.

Bugis Junction

Bugis Junction is located at Victoria Street. It consists of a shopping mall, an office tower and the Intercontinental Singapore Hotel. The mall also has a glass covered shopping streets which is the first in the country.

Anchor tenants include BHG. Other tenants include, Books Kinokuniya, Cold Storage, Food Junction, a Bugis Cineplex and numerous restaurants.

At the ground level, there is a water display near to the MacDonald. During the weekend, there are many children gather at the water display to enjoy the splashing of water. You can always bring your kids along to play with the other children. But do remember to bring extra clothing for your kids.

Ngee Ann City

Ngee Ann City or better know the local as Takashimaya who is the anchor tenant. It is located at the heart of Orchard Road. Ngee Ann City has two office towers, Tower A and B which are both 26 storeys high.

Takashimaya department store and Kinokuniya, the largest bookstore in Southeast Asia are one of the many stores in here. Ngee Ann City is also home to the largest Best Denki in Singapore

In front the building is call Civic Plaza, where roadshows, concerts, functions, performances are held. The building is connected by underpass to Wisma Atria and Lucky Plaza.

MRT Station : Orchard (NS22)

Vivo City

Vivo City is one of the newest and largest Singapore shopping centre. It has 102,000 m2 of retail space and is home to many fashion and electronic shops, bookstores and hyper supermarkets. It also has a train station that is linked to Sentosa.

A few notable tenants worth mentioning here: 

  • Fair Price Extra Supermarket - It occupies 2 floors with a travellator between them. The things in here are reasonably priced. 
  • Tangs - Local popular shopping emporium carry oversea and own branding goods
  •  National library- Urban national library located at level 3 of VivoCity 
  • Sky Park and Play Court - A big playground for the children. Usually it is crowded with parents and kids on weekends. Go there during evening to avoid the hot and sunny afternoon.

MRT Station : Harbour Front (NE1)

The Heeren

The Heeren Shops is a choice mall of lifestyle shops with unique product offerings targeting shoppers in their 20s and above. It has a reputation for cutting edge styles for the young and trendy working adults and anyone, regardless of age, who has a zest for life and individuality.

This Singapore Shopping centre or Mall is constantly abuzz with activity and shoppers looking for unusual merchandise and exciting promotions. HMV, the largest music superstore in Southeast Asia, is the anchor tenant and a crowd puller. Thai, Korean, Japanese and American style restaurants can be found at level 5.

Far East Plaza

Far East Plaza is one of the earliest Singapore Shopping Mall residing in Orchard Road. Recently, they have called themselves The LevelOne @ Far East Plaza. There are many small stores that are owned by young entrepreneurs for the young crowd. Lots of shoes, streetwear, trendy clothing for the young ones. When you are tired of shopping, proceed to the fourth floor for the Hanianese Chicken Rice.

Funan DigitaLife Mall

Funan digital life mall is also know as Funan IT Mall, is the place to go for computers and electronic accessories. It was closed for 3 years to revamp and reopen on 28th June 2019. Tenant include Taobao first physical store in Singapore, Dyson's Demo store, Brompton Junction and many others oversea branded store. IT computer stored were at the higher level of the mall.

If you are thinking of getting a camera, electronic or computer stuffs, this is a good place to go shopping in Singapore.

Mustafa Little India

Mustafa shopping centre located at little India opens for 24 hours. You can almost find anything from Jewelry, clothing, electronic goods, computers, money changers, supermarkets, textiles and travel bookings all under one roof. The goods sold here are quite reasonably priced.
