Vivo City

vivo city singaporeVivo City is one of the newest and largest Singapore shopping mall. It has 102,000 m2 of retail space and home to many fashion, electronic shop, bookstore and hyper supermarket. It also has a train station that link to Sentosa.

A few notable tenants worth mention here.

  • National Geographic - This is a concept store that opens in 2008. The things are not too cheap but are worth to browse around. Try out the air-con cooler fitting room and it is quite cool.
  • Giant Supermarket - It occupied 2 floor with a travelator between them. The things in here are reasonable.
  • Borders - A bookstore located next to Giant. It offers quite a wide range of magazines in here. A nice place where you can spend almost the whole afternoon there.
  • Sky Park and Play Court - A big playground for the children. Usually it is crowed with parents and kids on weekend. Go there during evening to avoid the hot and sunny afternoon.

Funan Centre

Other than computers, there are a few shops selling photographic equipment too. Funan is more upmarket compare to Sim Lim Square.

Challenger superstore, one of the anchor tenants, who is a major homegrown IT store since 1984, occupying the top floor. The prices here are reasonable and competitive.

Harvey Norman, another electric and electronic superstore, is occupying the basement floor. If you are thinking of getting a camera or disc player, this is a good place to go shopping in Singapore.

Mustafa opens for 24 hours. You can almost find anything from Jewelry, clothing, electronic goods, computers, money changer, supermarket, textiles and travel booking all under one roof. The goods sold here is quite reasonable price.
