Singapore Zoo formerly known as the Singapore Zoological Gardens and commonly known locally as the Mandai Zoo is an open concept zoo. Instead of cages, the animals are kept in spacious landscaped enclosures separated from the visitors by either dry or wet moats. Whereas amimals with climbing abilities like jagars are kept in landscaped glass-fronted enclosures.

Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall

Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall also known as Wan Qing Yuan, and formerly as Sun Yat Sen Villa, is a double-storey colonial villa at Balestier in Singapore. The villa is now a museum commemorating Dr Sun Yat Sen who visited Singapore eight times between 1900 and 1911.
