Universal Studios Singapore
The Universal Studio Singapore will be the only movie theme park in Asia as Universal Studios promised that this will be the only park it would have in Southeast Asia for the next 30 years. It will feature with 24 rides and attractions with 18 attractions created or redesigned for Singapore. The park will be divided into six theme zones include Water world, Lost World, Egypt, Hollywood Boulevard, Cartoon Studios and Super Hero City. Other than the theme park other entertainment will also be organized at the Universal Studio Singapore with promised to be both entertaining as well as enducational.
Marine Life Park
Marine Life Park will be the world largest oceanarium, holding more than 20 million gallons of salt water habitats. It is build in the objective of spuring the interest in marine science education, research and stewardship. Guests will have a chance to admire dolphins up close and there will be a wading pool allows children and adults to venture in shallow water for intimate interaction with reef and fishes. Initial there are planned to have whale sharks in this world’s largest oceanarium but because of the critic the plan is canceled. There will be a new proposal coming out to replace whale sharks attraction.
Maritime Xperiential Museum
The Maritime Xperiential Museum will be one of the only museums in the world dedicated to the celebration of the maritime heritage of Asia.
The museum will show case the history of the maritime Silk Route from the 9th to the 19th century, through an interactive, multi-sensory process. The main attraction of the Museum is a huge 360-degree multimedia theatre that house at the centre of the museum. Visitor will “board a ship?and with the help of the multimedia technology, visitors will be able to experience the ship sailing through storm weather and finally sinkig into the sea. The “passenges?will aslo experience that sinking feeling as the theatre floor descends. When the lights finaly come on, the ship’s passengers find themselves in the depths of theocean, up close with shipwreck and magnificet marine life.
Equarius Water Park
Equarius Water Park is a water theme park custom-designed to integrate with the hillside terrain of Sentosa and a Maritime Xperiential Museum set at the waterfront.
There will be a 450-metre "Water Coaster" that winds through the treetops and jungle; a "Snakes and Ladders" ride where water flows upwards; and a surf pool with a variety of wave types so that beginners and surfing experts alike can find their perfect wave on Sentosa.
Festive Walk
Festive Walk will be the world's largest mall of flagship concept retail, it will be a half-kilometer strip that plulsates 24/7 with activities that range from dining, shopping, clubbing to laser show. It will keep the resort guests company through all day and night
With all the new world class attractions that are coming, it will attract million of tourist from the world to come to Singapore and make Singapore at place that they must visit in Asia. Singaporean look forward for the Resort World at Sentosa for it grant opening.
