Once you step into the museum, you will be greeted by a grand and mighty Bao Chuan, a magnificent full-sized replica of the bow of Admiral Zheng He's massive 15th century treasure ship. At an open-style theatre, you can watch an animated video with synchronised lights, music and sound effects which play as the great Admiral himself "appears" and recounts his famous voyages from China to the Western Ocean.
The Souk Gallery is the recreation of the old ports along the Maritime Silk Route. It comes complete with interactive tourch-learn-play information panels.
