EZ link card

EZ link card is a Singapore prepaid card used

as a convenient way to pay the fare for both bus and MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) in Singapore. We strongly recommend Singapore tourist to buy EZ link card or Singapore tourist pass, if tourist intend to travel around Singapore by bus and MRT. In this article we will tell you everything that you need to know about the prepaid card.

Where to purchase EZ link card?

It can be purchase at any of the TransitLink Ticket Offices and service centres at MRT stations. It is easier to find and purchase at MRT station you can and most of the Ticket office opening is from 10am to 9p.m. Below are some of the Ticket office at the city MRT station

Orchard station 10a.m to 9p.m.
Somerset station 10a.m. to 9p.m.
Changi airport 12 a.m. to 7.30p.m.
Bugis Station 10a.m. to 9p.m.
City Hall station 8 a.m. to 9p.m.
Raffles place station 8a.m. to 9p.m. close at public holiday and Sunday

How to top up the value

MRT ticket machine ticket machine

You can top out your EZ link card the general ticketing machine (GTM) at any MRT station or the Ticketing office. The minimum top up value is $10 or the maximum is $100 and you can either used cash or NET to top up your EZ link card. Note if you are using cash please used the exact amount as no change will be issued.

How to use

MRT gate

Using at MRT: Tap your ez-link card on the faregate card reader. If you require assistance with your card, you may approach the MRT Passenger Service Centre or the TransitLink Ticket Office.

Using at Buses: Tap your ez-link card on the enry card reader upon boarding. Before alighting, tapyour card on the exit card reader.

The Singapore Tourist Pass

Singapore Tourist Pass is suitable for Singapore tourist who intended to travel for 1, 2 or 3 days at MRT or buses. Is the only one day pass that offers torists unlimited travel on Singapore’s public buses and MRT trains. Below is the price

Where to purchase Singapore Tourist Passes

You can purchased over the counter at selected TransitLink Ticket Offices at MRT stations and at selected Singapore Visitors Centres. The best is to purchase at Changi airport MRT station when you reach the airport or you can purchase the tourist pass at the below MRT stations
